Myths
Hairs will grow back thicker and darker
This isn't true. The only thing that could alter your hair texture and colour is a change in the hair follicle. This is commonly driven by hormonal changes. Dermaplaning with Veet Sensitive Precision Face Kit cuts your hair at the skin surface without affecting the hair follicle. So you can be sure that your facial hair will have the same texture and grow at the same speed as it did before.
Dermaplaning is the same as shaving
This isn't quite right either. It's true that Dermaplaning uses a blade gliding over your skin BUT Dermaplaning and shaving are actually different treatments. Dermaplaning is considered an exfoliating treatment as well as a hair removal one. It uses a smaller and finer blade than regular razors to remove dead skin cells and peach fuzz gently, safely and effectively.
Dermaplaning Hurts
The thought of a blade sliding across your face might be a scary one, we agree, but it's not painful at all. Many people describe dermaplaning as a gentle tickle or a brushing sensation. How to use

Apply a thin layer of the Veet Miraculous™ Oil onto make-up free, cleansed and dry skin.

Hold the device between your thumb and forefinger and hold the blade at a 45-degree angle to the skin.

Pull the skin taut, use short feathery strokes, beginning at the hairline just in front of your ear and move inward following the contours of your face.

Dermaplane your cheeks, your entire chin area (including just below chin), above and below your lips and your forehead.

Rinse the device to clean it after use (it's waterproof). We recommend using new head for every treatment.
